Biogance Turtle Clean Eyes lotion. If youre a turtle or tortoise owner, you probably know that eye health is a huge deal for these little guysespecially since puffy or “sticky” eyes are one of the most common issues they face.

Here is a quick breakdown of what this product is and why its usually in a reptile keeper’s kit:

What is it?

The Biogance Clean Eyes lotion is an organic-based cleanser specifically formulated for the delicate ocular area of turtles and tortoises. Its designed to be gentle while effectively clearing out debris.

Key Benefits

• Gentle Cleansing: Formulated with cornflower water, which is known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.

• Prevention: Regular use helps prevent the buildup of crust or discharge that can lead to infections.

• Safe Formula: Its paraben-free and made with 98% organic and natural ingredients, which is crucial since reptiles are highly sensitive to harsh chemicals.

How to Use It

1. Dampen: Soak a soft cloth or a sterile cotton pad with the lotion.

2. Wipe: Gently wipe around the eyelids and the edges of the eye.

3. Frequency: For maintenance, 12 times a week is standard. If the turtle has mild irritation, you might use it daily until clear.

A Friendly “Vet” Note

While this lotion is great for hygiene, eye issues in turtles are often a symptom of something else. * Vitamin A Deficiency: This is the #1 cause of swollen eyes in turtles. If their eyes are shut tight and won’t open, they might need a diet adjustment or a vet-prescribed supplement.

• Water Quality: If you have an aquatic turtle, dirty water is usually the culprit.
