DAP Appeasing Pheromone Diffuser Dog

In mammals, all lactating females release substances named ‘appeasing’ pheromones, the purpose of which is to reassure the offspring. Research has shown that the reassuring properties persist, even into adulthood.

The D.A.P. Diffuser contains an artificial version of this pheromone, which helps to control or prevent fear related reactions in puppies and adult dogs.

The diffuser is suitable for use indoors and outdoors such as:

• Car journeys
• New environment (new home, strangers, kennels)
• Socialisation period
• Vet visits
• Unpredictable situations
• Other situations in which your dog may become distressed; are traffic, other dogs, thunderstorms, gunshots etc.
• Helping puppies settle down in new environments away from their mother and siblings
• Helping rescue dogs settle into a new home with a new family

The diffuser helps to reduce the natural reactions of a distressed dog such as:

• Destruction
• Inappropriate toileting
• Vocalisation
• Salivation
• Vomiting
• Panting
• Excessive licking

The D.A.P. Diffuser helps to establish a puppy in a new environment.
