Sera Air Operated Sponge Filter

• Product Description:

  • The sera L 60 is an air-operated sponge filter that works using an airlift pump mechanism. The filter is powered by an air pump that pushes water upward through a hose, and the water then flows back through the fine mesh sponge, effectively purifying the water mechanically.
  • This filter creates an ideal environment for nitrifying bacteria to break down pollutants, improving water quality and promoting a healthy aquarium ecosystem.
  • It is particularly well-suited for rearing larvae and juvenile fish, as the fine mesh sponge prevents small fish from being sucked into the filter, which often happens with traditional filters.

• Key Features:

  • Air-driven filtration for efficient mechanical and biological filtration
  • Fine mesh sponge provides a surface for beneficial nitrifying bacteria
  • Ideal for protecting small fish, larvae, and juvenile species
  • Suitable for maintaining water clarity and purity without harming delicate fish
