TheShernbao Hemostat Curved Scissor (6″)often identified by SKU HT-02is a specialized grooming tool designed primarily for delicate ear care in pets. Despite the “scissor” name, it functions as a locking forceps (hemostat) rather than a cutting tool.

Core Specifications

• Model/SKU: HT-02

• Length: 6 inches (approx. 15.2 cm)

• Tip Type: Curved

• Material: High-quality Stainless Steel

• Mechanism: Multi-position ratchet (locking handles)

Key Features

• Precision Ear Grooming: The primary use for this tool is removing (plucking) excess hair from the ear canal. This helps improve airflow and reduce the risk of yeast infections and ear mites.

• Curved Design: The 6-inch body features a curved tip that follows the natural contours of a dog’s ear canal, allowing for safer and deeper access than straight tools.

• Serrated Jaws: The interior of the jaws is serrated to provide a non-slip grip on fine ear hairs, ensuring they can be removed with a gentle pull rather than slipping and causing irritation.

• Self-Locking Ratchet: The handle features a 3-stage locking mechanism. This allows the groomer to clamp onto a bundle of hair and lock the tool, providing a secure hold without needing to maintain constant finger pressure.

• Durability: Being made of stainless steel, it is rust-resistant and can be fully sanitized or autoclaved between uses.

Groomer Tips for Use

• Pair with Ear Powder: For the best results, use the hemostat in conjunction with ear grooming powder. The powder dries the hair and increases “grip,” making the plucking process much faster and more comfortable for the pet.

• Safety First: Because these are high-precision metal tools, always ensure the pets head is stabilized before reaching into the ear canal to prevent accidental nicks if the animal jerks.
